Sausage & Biscuit Breakfast Casserole

Components of this yummy breakfast casserole can be prepared the night before, then assembled in the morning for quick cooking.

1 pkg Southeastern Mills® Peppered Gravy with Sausage Flavor
2 pkg Southeastern Mills® Buttermilk Biscuit
1½ cups Milk, divided
1 lb Cooked breakfast sausage, chopped
2 cups Shredded Cheddar cheese
8 Eggs
½ tsp Each salt and pepper
2 Tbsp Finely chopped fresh parsley

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare Sausage Flavor Peppered Gravy Mix according to package directions; set aside.

    In bowl, mix Buttermilk Biscuit Mix with 1 cup milk until soft dough forms. Drop spoonfuls of dough into greased 13- x 9-inch baking pan. Sprinkle sausage and cheese over top.

    Whisk together eggs, remaining milk, salt and pepper; pour into pan. Spoon half of the gravy over top.

    Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown and set. Let stand for 5 minutes. Cut into squares. Sprinkle with parsley.

    Meanwhile, reheat remaining gravy. Serve breakfast casserole with remaining gravy.

Substitute Tex Mex or Italian cheese blend for Cheddar cheese.
