
Sausage Scramble Breakfast Biscuit

1 pkg | Southeastern Mills® Country Biscuit Mix |
½ cup | ground mild breakfast sausage (about ¼ of a 16-ounce package) |
1 pkg | Southeastern Mills® Peppered Gravy Mix |
1 tsp | water |
4 | eggs (whisk together with water, season to taste with salt and pepper) |
½ cup | shredded Cheddar cheese |
Prepare biscuits according to package directions, set aside and keep warm.
Coat a small non-stick skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium-high heat add sausage, cook and stir, breaking sausage apart into small crumbles, about 10 minutes, set aside on paper towels to drain.
In a medium saucepan, prepare Old Fashioned Peppered Gravy Mix according to package directions, set aside, cover and keep warm.
Coat a second non-stick skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium heat, add whisked eggs and cooked sausage crumbles. Cook and stir. When eggs are done, add cheese, stir to combine. Remove from heat.
Split biscuits and generously top each biscuit bottom with sausage egg scramble.
Spoon Old Fashioned Peppered Gravy Mix over eggs. Cover with biscuit top.
