Sausage Meatloaf with Gravy

Mixing prepared Sausage Flavor Peppered Gravy right into the meatloaf makes it uber moist and juicy.

1 pkg Southeastern Mills® Peppered Gravy with Sausage Flavor Mix
1½ lb pork sausages, casing removed
1 cup crushed crackers
2 eggs
½ cup grated onion
¼ cup milk
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
¼ tsp each salt and pepper
2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley

    Preheat oven to 350˚F. Prepare Sausage Flavor Peppered Gravy Mix according to package directions.

    Mix together sausage meat, crackers, eggs, onion, 1/2 cup gravy, milk, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper until combined. Press into greased 9- x 5-inch loaf pan.

    Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until golden brown and instant-read thermometer inserted into center of meatloaf reads 160˚F. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Sprinkle parsley over meatloaf.

    Reheat remaining gravy; serve with meatloaf.

Alternatively, bake in greased muffin cups for individual meatloaves, adjusting cooking time as needed.
