
Chicken Pot Pie

1 | seasoning mix for chicken |
2 cups | water |
2 lb | chicken breasts cut into 2 - 3” cubes |
1 cup | frozen peas |
2 cups | diced small carrots |
1 | medium onion, diced |
2 cups | diced small celery |
2 cups | milk or cream |
1 pkg | Southeastern Mills® Country Biscuit Mix |
In slow cooker, whisk Seasoning Mix for Chicken with water.
Add chicken breasts, peas, carrots, onions, and celery.
Cover and cook until meat and other ingredients are completely cooked (7 – 8 hours on low setting or 4 hours on high setting). Thirty minutes before the dish is done add milk or cream and stir.
Mix Country Biscuit Mix according to package. Use a 2” biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits.
Add biscuits to slow cooker, replace lid and cook on low setting for an additional 15 – 20 minutes.
