2 Tbsp | butter |
8 oz | andouille sausage, sliced |
3 | leeks, sliced (white and light green parts only) |
4 tsp | finely chopped fresh thyme |
2 | cloves garlic, minced |
¼ tsp | each salt and pepper |
4 cup | reduced-sodium beef broth |
1 lb | potatoes, chopped |
1 pkg | Southeastern Mills® Peppered Gravy with Sausage Flavor Mix |
Pinch ground cinnamon | |

Melt butter in large skillet set over medium heat; cook sausage, leeks, thyme, garlic, salt and pepper for about 5 minutes or until sausage starts to brown and leeks are tender. Transfer to bowl of slow cooker; stir in beef broth and potatoes.
Cover and cook on High for about 2 hours and 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Meanwhile, prepare Sausage Flavor Peppered Gravy according to package directions. Stir into soup along with cinnamon.
Divide soup among 4 bowls. Serve with crusty bread.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives if desired.
