Cioppino (Italian Fish Stew)

Ingredients

1 packet Crockery Gourmet® Beef Seasoning Mix
2 can Tomatoes (14.5 oz), whole or diced
1½ cup Water
1½-2 lb Assorted seafood*
1 Onion (medium), diced
1 jar Olives or garlic cloves (small)

Directions

    Combine seasoning mix packet with 2 cans (14½ oz) whole or diced tomatoes and 1 ½ cups water in slow cooker (2 - 6 oz cans of tomato paste and 4 cups of water may be substituted). Stir until well blended.

    Add 1 medium diced onion and, if desired, 1 small can olives or garlic cloves.

    Cover; cook on High heat setting 3 to 4 hours.

    Add 1½-2 pounds of assorted seafood (*Suggestion: ½ pound fish fillets pieces, ½ pound shrimp, 1- 10 oz can clams with juice) to slow cooker.

    Reduce heat setting to Low. Cover; cook 30 to 45 minutes longer or until fish flakes easily with fork.
