1 pkg | Southeastern Mills® Peppered Gravy Mix |
1 lb | ground pork, thawed |
1 | egg, lightly beaten |
2 tsp | Better Than Bouillon® Ham Base |
1 tsp | Better Than Bouillon® Chili Base (optional for a spicier sausage) |
1½ tsp | ground sage |
½ tsp | ground cumin |
½ tsp | black pepper |
5 | eggs (whisk eggs together with water, season to taste with salt and pepper) |
1 Tbsp | water |
4 | of your favorite bagels |
Prepare Peppered Gravy mix according to package instructions and set aside.
In a medium bowl, add ground pork, egg, Ham Base, sage, cumin and pepper, mix to combine.
Divide meat mixture into 4 equal portions; shape each portion into a thin patty.
Coat a large non-stick skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium heat.
Place patties in skillet; do not over crowd, cook until done, about 10-15 minutes, turn occasionally. To ensure proper doneness, use an instant read thermometer.
Coat a second non-stick skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium heat, add eggs, cook and stir until scrambled.
Place patties on toasted and buttered bagels, and generously top with scrambled eggs and Peppered Gravy Mix.
