Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Add buttermilk to biscuit mix and mix lightly. (The less you work the dough, the lighter the biscuit will be.) Roll out onto a floured surface and cut with a biscuit cutter. Place on a buttered sheet pan. Bake 12 minutes. Brush tops with melted butter after they come out of the oven. For cheese biscuits, add 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese to the dry biscuit mix. |
